Origin: Dongbei province, China (Why we go there to collect skins)

Every year, we will go to the Northern area of China where are so near the borders to Russia to collect weasel skins.

There are weasel distributing all around China especially in my own town. How ever, we will still go there every winter. The only reason is just that weasel skins of that area and that time has the best the quality all around the world and we only deal with products of this level.

If you said the quality of silver fox, red fox and rex rabbit skins are hard to control, compared to the quality of weasel furs, you will realize how an easy job working with weasel skins.

For the weasel skins, there are several important points regarding quality which need to be considered as below:

There are big differences between male and female skins which male skins have large size, long, strong hair, female skins are always smaller with short hair and soft fur

spring, summer, autumn or winter
|
Skins of different seasons have obvious difference in form of fur quality, especially the deep fur
|
|
|
Quality difference depends on fur quality, tanning techniques, how strict to select skins, origins, etc.
|

|
Weasel furs after or before plucking have different characteristics but generally speaking weseal furs used for plucking require higher quality

For the weasel skins, there are several important points regarding quality which need to be considered as below:
Colors: Natural
- Colors of weasel plates from other suppliers for your reference:
Size: exactly 60 cm x 120 cm
- Not as other items, we can secure the exact size of 60 cm x 120 cm because we go collecting raw skins, tan skins, make plates all by ourselves. So, we always make the plates at 65 cm x 130 cm before dry-cleaning to ensure the exact size of 60 cm x 120 cm after dry-cleaning.
- Skin number: Our weasel plates are made from male skins and female skins. For male weasel plates, we use 15 skins (3 x 5) and for female plates, we use 20 skins (4 x 5) . The formatting is as below.
- We prefer to use the best part of weseal skins to make plates. As I know, other Chinese suppliers always make their male weasel plates from 12 skins (3 x 4). That means if they want to secure the 60 cm x 120 cm size, they will have to use more belly fur or stretch the plates hard.
Season: Winter skins (As describbed above, we only deal with winter skins all year around and we do not have lower-quality weasel plates to offer)
Grade: A (There are some important suppliers of weasel fur plates from China and our products can be at least the same as theirs which have lower prices to enable our advantages)
Quality: Advantages of our weasel plates which guarantee its popularity are mainly as below:
- Collecting raw skins in winter time and cold areas to secure the quality from the very beginning
- Full process quality control from raw skin examining, tanning, skin cutting, color-matching until plate manufacturing, final reparing, dry-cleaning which lower our cost to the best of we can.
- To cut skins seriously and onlu use the best part of fur skins for plate making
- Skilled stitching and labour work
- Keep furs original instead of stretching that to meet certain size as others do
- Dry-cleaning to remove any horrible smells which customers can directly cut for production without any extra work from your side and also keep leatherside of plates soft and elastic
- Final fine-tune plates including backside repairing to remove extra stitching,
- Stitching seam unified, namely all skins of same size used to facilitate garment manufacturing
