2. Dongbei region of China

• White/blue fox skins are our regular items. Chinese white/blue fox skins are of farmed skins which is the same as white fox. No wild blue/white fox available in China.
• Since all white fox skins are from farms which are raised carefully over human being's control. It has much better fur quality than wild skins.
• Our white fox skins are collected from October until April of the next year. There are mountainous areas in these 2 places.
• We collect skins in Shandong province and Dongbei region where there are lots of mountains in these 2 regions.

• White fox skins from Dongbei region are always much heavier than Shandong origin. Most of Dongbei skins are used for making trimmings and most of Shandong skins are for making collars.
• One important thing about Chinese white fox skins is that they are always smaller than European white fox skin from Finland and Denmark. How ever, compared to its cost, the skins are always marketable. In addition, higher quality Chinese white fox skins are as good as European skins also.
• It is also important to be clear about the difference amongwhite fox, blue fox.

Color: Natural

• As mentioned above, the best color of white fox skins is white without yellow or oil spots.
• Some white fox skins have relatively beige color deep fur. That is because of the hide/skin is that colors. This is no problem for the use of fox fur.
• Please note the difference of natural white color white fox skins and bleached white color white fox skins.
• The best advantage of white fox skins are that they can be dyed into any colors without bleaching first. How ever, if you want to dye silver/kit or other fox skins into exactly another kind of color, you will have to bleach them into white color and then dye again. It will increase the cost.
• Sometimes, the blue fox skins are also dyed into different colors. How ever, with its black fur tips and blueish fur, the result is always different from white fox skins.

Size: 80 cm - 110 cm

• How we measure the blue fox skins: we measure blue fox skins from ear to the ramp as below:

• The general size of white fox skins are of the same as blue fox skins.

• All sizes we quote are based on original skins without stretching.
• We provide original skins and stretched skins at the same time.
• Skins after stretching will be about 10 cm longer than before that.
• Sizes of white fox skins before and after stretching are as below:

Season: winter skins

• We do not handle fox skins all year around ad rabbit skins. We collect raw skins in winter and early spring time. Tan them into dressed furs in summer. Trade them in autumn generally. So, our skins are of winter skins.

Grade: A+ for making trimmings and A for making collars

• Both white skins of Shandong and Dongbei origin can be dividied into 2 grades as below:

Notes:

• For fur items of blue fox, white fox, silver fox, red fox, kit fox skins, because of tanning requirements, we can not provide fox skins with fore legs. It is a old doing in Chinese fur industry.
